Striping is something that most people associate with roads and parking lots. However, striping can be used for other applications as well, such as playgrounds. In fact, the use of striping can go a long way in improving a school playground. The following are a few ways that you can use school playground lot striping:
Four Square – Four square is a popular and simple playground game that requires only a ball and some markings on the ground – four squares that form a bigger square.
Hopscotch – This classic playground game is played all over the world. Children often make their own hopscotch outlines with chalk, but why not make an “official” hopscotch outline on your playground?
50-Yard Dash – Put down markings for a 50-yard dash so that kids can race one another without having to make their own markings.
Basketball Court – If you have a couple of basketball hoops on your playground, then you should stripe the court to add a free-throw line and three-point line.
As you can see, striping can really help to improve the enjoyment kids have of their playground. Be sure to use some of these ideas to add striping to your playground.
